I worked directly with a private banking officer named Christ Brantley. I contacted trustmark in April of 2023 about a loan for a piece of property in Madison, MS. He assured me that I was approved for the loan after I sent in paystubs and proof of down payment (which was over 20%). 2 weeks before closing I get an email from Chris saying that I was not approved due to having schedule C income(small business income)so i resend documentation and he assures me everything will be done before closing. The day before closing comes and my real estate agent calls and says the loan officer is fumbling and saying the appraisal has not been done and that the bank has no clue who the appraisers are so they can't get in contact or get this deal done within the closing due date. Luckily I had the cash amount for the property in my savings account which was saved for paying off my wife's student loan that was coming up for a total payoff payment in October (the closing date was supposed to be end of may). So chris brantley knowing that i have enough cash for this property tells me the loan deal cannot be done in time for closing and if i just pay the property in cash, he will reimburse me the amount i needed for my wife's student loan. So i pay in cash for the property but if i had not had that amount then the seller of the property would have backed out and i would have missed out on the property bc of the loan officer. The loan officer (chris brantley) sends me an email with his signature promising to reimburse me the amount i need to pay off student loan in x amount of time. Well, that amount of time goes by and no reimbursem*nt. We go round and round for another month and finally get reimbursem*nt from the bank. On top of all this my interest rate that he assured me of being locked in somehow was not the rate we discussed when the loan was finally issued. I got loan estimates in the mail before it went through and i notified him multiple times that the loan estimates were not the same as the rate we agreed on. Well don't ya know the rate was higher than agreed on. After notifying him of this in August, I was overcharged for 46 days and it was not corrected or reimbursed to my account until November 28th. Trustmark has terrible customer service and terrible communication from its private banking sector. I bought this property to build a house and I would never think of financing anything ever again with trust mark even if my life depended on it.. Thanks again, Chris Brantley.

The Blue Pearl card is fin for someone that makes payment on time. The APR is great. The card design is catch. Card can have as high of limit as you,ve earned with your bank.

Applied for a mortgage with my spouse on Tuesday. Emailed asking for an update on Wednesday. On Thursday, reached out to the selling realtor to state that we were still waiting on a call back from the loan officer to see if we qualified for a mortgage to place an offer. Realtor said we were denied for the mortgage and that the officer should have contacted us already. We called the local office's mortgage supervisor and left a message this morning, and still have not heard back from the lender.

While not illegal to tell the realtor, we never gave permission and the lender did not know if that was our realtor (it wasn't, it was just the seller's), we only stated that we had been recommended to try the bank by the realtor. And we still have yet received a phone call from Trustmark to tell us anything personally about the mortgage details.

Unimpressed with the policies allowed by Trustmark, and would like to know if this is a common practice for their lenders.

went to office in Panama City to cash a check drawn on your bank as I am here from California and don’t have any accounts here. only one customer there who left before I went up to counter. put check and DL on counter and asked to cash it. The nice young man asked if I had an account I said no and he asked which kind of bills. Then he walked away. An older man comes over after a while and says, very abruptly and almost in an aggressive manner we will need a second ID and a fingerprint and there’s a ten dollar fee since your not one of our customers. I objected to the fee but he made no effort to apologize or be nice about it at all. This seems a poor way to encourage good will with this community and attract customers. I would never open an account with this bank they were very rude to me.

First of all, I will say that up until now this bank was rather organized and the staff was well aware of their responsibilities. So, on May 31st I went into the branch and got a money order with no problem at all for my mom. We are on a shared account. I’m on the account as POD and an authorized signer. (Keep that in mind). I go into the branch on June 5th at 2:25 to get my mom another money order. There’s this floater teller who attempted to assist me named Jessica. (Also keep that in mind). She asked how could she assist me and I mention to her that I withdrew $500 from the atm last Friday, which was 3 days ago, and I received a hundred dollar bill that was torn on the one end. I asked her to replace it and she did. When I asked for the money order, she pulled up the account, got my id and bank card and told me that I could not get the money order because I’m only listed as a POD on the account. She said that my mom would have to come in and get it. So I had to go back home to get my mom and go back to the bank. When we got there, I was sure to get back in line to be serviced by her. She rudely told us that we needed to speak with the manager and we did. I asked her how much time did SHE need before we closed and transferred our money elsewhere? She seems to be the type of person who doesn’t know how to handle customer relations nor is she teachable. The branch manager informed us that I am indeed an authorized signer on the account and that I could have gotten the money order. He also informed us that all she had to do was open the relationship tab to see that. I will be writing/emailing corporate and giving them a call TODAY! This is very unacceptable and embarrassing to have an employee represent their establishment in this manner. I see why she’s a floater and hopefully she floats right on out the door.

I loved the ease of use and the low APR. I just received a letter stating my APR was being raised to over 20%. I picked this credit card due to the low APR. I've been banking with Trustmark for many years. I now will be looking into changing banks. I will cancel my credit card. With the cost of living and rise in prices, I can no afford to use this card.

Trustmark used to be a top notch bank here in Mississippi, right along side Deposit Guaranty Bank, they were the #1 and #2 banks in the state. Having said that I have to admit that their customer service is terrible. The only reason I still have an account with them is that they have a ATM/automated teller machine right by my home. Honestly though, Trustmark has not been a great bank ever since the passing of Frank Day, their President. I'm afraid they have gone the way of Deposit Guaranty who is now Regions Bank. Both are pretty worthless in my opinion. I'll stick with the ATM machine from now on because the branch on Highway 80 in Pearl has lousy customer service. I went by there today to exchange some Susan B. Anthony 1-dollar coins because no one wants to take them, I can't blame them, they look too much like quarters!! Anyway, you would think I was trying to pass off some counterfeit currency the way they gave me the runaround....go to Bankplus instead....better people, better customer service!!!

I want to commend Carla Hoffman (Freeport FL Branch) on her services she provided to me and my HOAs operations for transition. Right from the start Carla was nothing more than informative, kind, courteous, and extremely helpful using her awesome interpersonal skills. As I was going through a difficult transition of a HOA banking she was nothing but supportive on getting me where I needed to be and helping my new management company transferred to our account. I had visited Carla several times for several months and she had to perform several acts to include calls and paperwork for my continual changing of operations. This as the issues were on our end with our operational changes. In the end she got me straight and our company on the line towards the biggest part of operations, which is our financial operations. In closing Carla is a role model for the banking industry and is what keeps customers connected with their financial banking company. Never have I had such great service from an individual in the banking industry and known Trustmark is lucky to have her.

Customer Service is Horrible! They have the worst mortgage payment system I’ve ever seen. There technology is way behind other banks I deal with for work. You can’t pay weekly payments, it’s forbidden! They don’t respond to emails or return phone calls. As soon as rates drop, I’m refinancing with any other bank!

The IVR for customer service is a nightmare. It is so bad this 30+ year customer is starting to look for a replacement Bank. Finally getting through it took three people telling me what they couldn't do .... Until I indicated I was going to start looking to replace them - then a few mediocre alternatives were offered.

So dissatisfied and disappointed. Doesn’t return calls, not informative. I should never feel like I’m bothering my lender but that’s the vibe she always gives off.

Worst bank I ever come encountered with the employees suck Frfr every one there is a discrace fr neva had a bank treat me as if I was a outcast at my own bank . Only one is Jeanette she should run the Flowood location the manager doesn’t even know what he is doing . Going to a different institution fr my dad is highly upset at these ppl especially wen he’s been there since it was first national bank my dad feels like at his disretion he has been pushed out of his own bank such liars they are n Neva have u back …,
