Many attractions in the area include the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum, the Illinois State Museum, the Old State CapitolHistoric Site, and the 1904 Dana-Thomas House, which was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. Downtown, you'll find restaurants and bars, hotels, shopping, historic churches and landmarks, performing arts venues, and more! During your Operation City Quest scavenger hunt in Springfield, you'll explore all that downtown Springfield has to offer while gaining points and competing for first place on the leaderboard.

About Operation City Quest

Looking for a family friendly activity? We can help you explore the city with our fun photo scavenger hunt service. Using your smartphone, you'll be given a list of items to find in the form of riddles and challenges to complete on our scavenger hunt app. You'll go look for the item described in the riddle, complete the accompanied challenge, and send in a photo to get points. Your points will show up on the app's leaderboard so you can see how you're doing compared to teams all across the country! Operation City Quest can be played in any city, no matter how big or small!

Don't worry, you won't be alone. You'll have a remote host that will be communicating with you during your game via a chat feature on the app if you need help or have a question. They can also give you hints and additional *mystery* challenges!

The goal of the scavenger hunt service is to find all the items, earn your way to the top of the leaderboard, and more importantly, to have fun with family and friends!

Our games usually take about 2 hours and most teams walk around 2 miles during their scavenger hunt.

How Do I Start?

If you have less than 10 players, first, head to our Tickets page to purchase for the number of players participating. Once you have your tickets, you can make a redeem them on our website to choose the date you'd like to play. If you have 10 or more players, you can purchase a Group Event instead and we'll take care of the rest!
