Thrilled by his experience with the Avengers, young Peter Parker returns home to live with his Aunt May. The film was a refreshingly scaled-down take on Parker’s journey as a superhero. Even the billionaire Iron Man tech he uses, you still enjoy Parker as a scrappy underdog fighting for what he loves.

It plays things safe, so it cannot hope to reach the operatic heights of Raimi’s films, but after the bloated nonsense of the Amazing Spider-Man series, perhaps safer is better. Rated 3.5/5 Stars • Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 05/23/24 Full Review Mr. Hollywood Spider-Man because of Iron Man. So he had strength but everything else given to him by Iron Man, that is the problem. Movie is not about Peter figuring out his powers and his uncle inspiring him. Again its Iron Man and again thats the problem. This movie wasnt needed and doesnt improve the character that the original trilogy put forth.
