Delicious Caribbean food!

We felt like something different than a German or Italian restaurant, so we chose this restaurant. The food was delicious and tasty. The chef also came by very pleasantly to ask if the food tasted good. The decor/ambiance could be a bit more Caribbean, but maybe this is still the plan anyway.

Caribbean vibes in Eisenach - friendly team, great atmosphere, good value for money

Eisenach now has a certain number of alternatives to offer. La Cuchilla with its Caribbean/Dominican specialties is still something special.The atmosphere begins with the music and the decoration. Many shops can learn a thing or two from this. Warmly welcomed by the team, we go to the table.A breath of fresh air is blowing on the menu, but a few well-known classics shouldn't be missing either. In addition to gazpacho, empanadas and Caribbean-interpreted burgers, just reading whets your appetite. Meat and fish lovers will get their money's worth. If you like tapas, you should definitely try the ceviche. The range of vegetarian dishes is a little thinner. Here the Moniato al Curry Vegano was absolutely convincing. For meat lovers, my recommendation is the Pechuga de Pollo en Salsa de Mango. The burgers didn't go down all that well. We also imagined the plantains to be more exciting.The great strength of the house, however, is the service team. Humor, a suitable recommendation for everyone and expertise characterized our service.The price-performance is very good. Staying under 200 euros for five people with starters and extras like rum and espressos is a good result. If you take the special ingredients into account, the result looks even better.We'd love to come back and try out the much-praised fish variations.

We were very positively surprised by the delicious food. Something completely different, Caribbean. We had a variety of dishes and everything tasted very good. The service was also very friendly and the chef came to our table and asked if we liked everything. We would love to come back.

Very tasty food, freshly and attractively prepared. Super friendly staff. Special requests are taken into account. Unfortunately, there are only a few vegan options (sweet potato stew was not our taste). But still outstanding for Eisenach and recommended.
