Hi,
I'm Bobby Rootveld,
classical guitar player, actor and stand-up-comedian from the Netherlands. I studied at the conservatory of Enschede with Louis Ignatius Gall.

One of my ensemble's is duo NIHZ (http://www.duonihz.com) A recorder, Classical Guitar and theater-combination-duo.

I'm in the board of The Twents Guitar Festival in Holland (26-28 may 2006) includin concerts, masterclasses and a competition which will give the winner 750 Euro. (http://www.twentsgitaarfestival.nl)

I'd like contact with fellow-guitarplayers all over the world. Maybe we can help eachother... Organising concerts for eachother in our own country's?

Kind Regards,
Bobby Rootveld

Ahh yes - sorry - I missed that link (suggestion - move it to the tracklist - VERY hard to notice where it is)

I REALLY LIKE THAT!!!!!

I did some CG/flute duets way back when but I think I like the recorder/CG combination better!!!

I'm sure there is a bit of CG community in Houston - yes - but I'm somewhat of a hermit, I'm afraid. So I have not yet made any contact with the local community - maybe after my hands come back a bit more I'll be more comfortable with it.

--- break ---

OK - it's like an hour later now and I've played that snip over about 10 times - that is just a PURE JOY!! thanks - sure would like to hear more!!! I'm gonne go out and find myself a recorder player for sure ---

I wonder if there is a "Rent a Recorder Partner" store anywhere cloes by HI, I'm Bobby Rootveld - Delcamp Classical Guitar Forum (2)

Thanx for the compliment.
You know: we actually play a lot of flute-cg pieces, we just arrange it for guitar and recorder. this piece, Guajira, was original also for cg with flute or violin. it's written by my conservatory-teacher. His teacher was Segovia way back in the sixties.
